High-Level Meeting with Technical and Financial Partners on the Financing of Community-Led Development in Mali
On January 29, 2026, at the Radisson Collection Hotel, the Ministry of Reconciliation, Peace and National Cohesion organized a strategic meeting with Technical and Financial Partners (TFPs) on Community-Led Development (DCC).
This meeting is part of the drive to consolidate the achievements recorded by flagship projects such as PCRSS and MALIDENKO, which have enabled:
-the establishment of more than 1,000 Village/Neighborhood/Fraction Development Committees (CDVQF);
-the financing of priority micro-projects identified by the communities;
-the strengthening of peace, social cohesion and community resilience.
The main objective of this meeting was to strengthen TFP commitment to sustainable DCC financing, highlighting:
-the concrete and measurable results of the approach;
-innovative digital tools for monitoring, transparency and accountability;
-prospects for cross-sectoral co-financing and the integration of DCC into public policies.
This meeting provided a space for strategic dialogue, accountability and the pooling of efforts, with a view to firmly anchoring DCC as a pillar of inclusive development and stabilization in Mali.
