About the project
Community Resilience and Inclusive Services Project — Ministry of Reconciliation, Peace and National Cohesion
Presentation
MALIDENKO
The MALIDENKO project — Community Resilience and Inclusive Services Project — is implemented under the Ministry of Reconciliation, Peace and National Cohesion.
It funds community-driven development (CDD): an approach that places populations at the heart of decisions, financing and implementation of the infrastructure and services they need.
Through its four components, the project supports communes and villages in implementing priority micro-projects, training local actors and strengthening social cohesion.
Our mission
Strengthen community resilience by funding micro-projects decided, implemented and managed by the populations themselves, through the Community-Driven Development (CDD) approach.
The CDD approach
Community-Driven Development places populations at the heart of the process: they identify their needs, prioritize investments and take part in managing the funds allocated to their micro-projects.
Area of intervention
Intervention regions
The project operates in six regions of Mali, prioritizing areas affected by fragility, to support communes and villages towards resilience, social cohesion and reconciliation.
